The Jewel Store Job is GTA 5's first real heist, run by Michael and Franklin. You choose between two approaches: Smart and Loud.
Smart (recommended): first complete the optional task to knock out Vangelico's air-conditioning so Lester can pump in knockout gas. The crew rides in on bikes, smashes the display cases, and escapes through the storm drains — quieter, with more time to grab jewels.
Loud: rush in with a gas grenade and weapons out. It's faster to start but the police respond much sooner.
Best crew: for the gunman, unlock Packie McReary (from a random robbery event in Vespucci) — high skill for a low 12% cut. A cheap hacker (Rickie Lukens) saves money but gives you less time in the store; Paige Harris costs more but buys extra time for a bigger haul.
